  • The Sons of The American Legion have donated over 200,000 hours for 2007 in the Veterans Hospitals throught the country and raised over $750,000 that has gone directly to the VA hospitals and VA homes for a variety of items including TVs, radios, medical equipment, and clothes for the patients.
  • You are eligible for membership in the Sons of The American Legion if you are:
  • -- the male descendant (includes adopted sons or stepsons) of a member of The American Legion, or
    -- the male descendant of a veteran who died in service during World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, or the Persian Gulf War, or
    -- the male descendant of a veteran who died subsequent to their honorable discharge from service during World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, or the Persian Gulf War.
