The members of Squadron 550 in Pilot Point, pulled together and worked hard
to get a Howitzer installed in front of the Post. There was also a flag retirement
Ceremony, 21 gun Salute along with Taps by the VVA of Denton Honor Guard.
District Commander Gary Paul was on hand for the festivities.
The Afternoon festivities was followed by dinner and dance, admission to this
was a non-perishable item to go to the troops and a good time was had by all.
The Sons of The American Legion did a great job and a lot of hard work to make
this presentation to Post 550 Pilot Point.
