As you all know, we have another disaster in our great State of Texas -
The town of West was devastated by an explosion. It’s time to ask our American Legion Family to pull together and do what
we can do to help this community.

We know everyone is praying for the town of West. The ALA Dept headquarters is accepting funds
that you wish to go towards helping the victims in West’s tragedy. We know one item that is really needed at this time is Visa and
MasterCard Gift cards since West is a small town with only Mom & Pop stores. Money is needed: to help with temporary living, food
and other necessities. At this time none of the larger chain stores cards would be helpful. For the ones that have purchased
Wal-Mart and other cards, the closest town is 40 miles away, so these can still be used but a little later.
Please send all monies to:
ALA Dept of Texas
