Please see below. If any other squadron wants to join in The American Legion USA 250 Challenge, I just to let everyone know, the first batch of American Flags have been ordered that support the "Flags for Fallen Heroes" program. Please see the link below. It is for the USA 250 Challenge. I ask that all parties take a moment to just review all items associated with this link and then disseminate to all Squadrons and Districts. Your help is appreciated.
Gentlemen, pease get the attached document out to your Detachments/Squadrons . If anyone should want to know what the Sons do, just show them the print out. Just one word of thought, this print-out only represents 40% .... Why ? because only 40% of Squadrons submit their Consolidated Squadron Report ??? This is why it's very important to submit/file the Consolidated Squadron Report

Our Local Victoria College has a pantry that feeds its students that cannot afford food while attending college. At our meeting this coming Tuesday, September 16th at 6pm. we plan to help refill that pantry with personalized cards attached asking students to voluntarily share their stories as well as identifying which students could be from military families.
We are also planning to sponsor a young SAL member for his next bull riding competition.
We also invited our local Stroman Middle School students flag team (Created by our American Legion post) into our meeting and family night at the Hall. Leading to 3 new memberships.
If your Squadron and/or District is planning an event, make sure you take some pictures. Also write a small article and send it in along with the pictures to the Millennium. Also, make sure the event gets to the correct Detachment Committee. Email your article to The Millennium rusty.myers@ymail.com
