To those who wore “The Uniform”
To those who wore the uniform,
The one that I have not
I make this solemn promise that,
You will not be forgot
To serve, to fight, for freedoms’ sake
Your sacrifice so grand
To keep Old Glory flying free
Across our noble land
To those who wore the uniform
Just like my grandpa did
I pledge to you my loyalty
Although I’m just a kid
I honor you for bravery
On land, at sea, in air
I will carry on the legacy
Of a gallant Legionnaire
To those who wore the uniform
To each and every one
I’ll stand up proud
And say it loud
