TEAM TEXAS,
This will be my last report on 2011 Membership unless there are some major changes. This week we had 14 members turned in. This sets us at 6557 101.6% 216 from the 105% goal. Keep working renewals for those members that want to keep their years.

2012 membership has started coming in. I will be reporting on 2012 until Commander Gary Paul returns from National Convention when he will take over. Detachment has 601 members 9.3%. The attached 2012 spreadsheet has members posted the goals will be reset after National Convention. Texas Detachment Squadron Goals will be 2 more that what is posted at the end of National Convention. This spreadsheet does not reflect which Squadrons are certified for 2012

TEAM TEXAS,
We are working to get to 105% 2011 membership is 6543 101.4% only 230 short of 105%. There are still 2011 renewals out there and members that want to keep there continuous years. We had 11 members turned in this week. 2012 membership is being posted on the SAL Texas website 539 members.

Bluebook deadline is August 1, 2011 If you want your Squadron listed in the Bluebook Certification of Officer must be at Department.

It has been an honor to serve as Membership/Internal Affairs Chairman this year.

Everybody check the Commanders listed District & Division let me know of any mistakes.

TEAM TEXAS,
National shows Texas at 100.1% we have posted 100% goal before Strength Date. We are in 19th Nationally. This has been a GREAT team effort 7 Districts at or over goal. Second Division over 100% the other three Divisions all have exceded 90%. We are now at 6532 at Department 101.2% we have less than one week to find 241 members to make 105% for Commander Paul. This would be a good Showing for National Commander Dew.

If your Squadron is Certified you should have 2012 cards. The Website has started posting 2012 members. The goals will reset after National Convention. All paid up for life members have been posted as part of the current 2012 members

TEAM TEXAS,
For those of you who read what is sent out there is a difference between National Membership & Detachment membership. There are several of us working on this & will keep ya'll posted. The state website has started posting 2012 membership numbers but I will still keep updating 2011 weekly until the National Convention.

Right now we have 6509 100.9% of goal at Detachment. National shows us at 6447, 4 short of goal BUT in 18th place Nationally. We have not been this high all year CONGRATULATIONS TEAM TEXAS.

I transmittal of 12 was sent to National last week. This should push us over 100% at National 7 help DOC as our National Vice Commander in the race SAL 365 We still have the 105% carrot in reach. 264 members to National by July 27,2011. This would look great for Commander Paul & National Commander Dew.

These are hard times and I want to thank Every member of the Detachment for there hard work to obtain these goals. Let's keep working on renewals for 2011

As of today we have exceded our goal based on what is now on hand at Department 6487 members for our goal of 6451. We could not be any closer without making goal. We are at 6450 99.98% of goal ONE member away.

In numbers Dan Paul Commander First Division is far and away with 2209 members. Juan Torres is ahead in percentage surpassing 100% in the Second Division. As soon as the ONE member is posted I will put out a 100% notice. We have had a hard year with the way things have been.

I will keep updating this report until Gary Paul returns from National Convention.

AS of the close of Detachment Convention we stand at 6356 -98.5% of goal. we are only 95 short of 100%.
Do not stop now we have until July 27,2011 to get membership to National to get Commander Paul & Commander Dew 100% for TEXAS

Team Texas,

By the Commanders request, I am going to do the membership report this week! I have been watching the numbers all year, and EVERYONE has been doing a spectacular job!!!! From Division Commanders to District Commanders and Squadron Commanders, you all deserve an AT -A BOY!!!!

We aren't done yet though, as of today we are 154 short of the National goal, surely we can knock that out by convention, don't you all think???

As you all probably know, Department is heading for Odessa on Tuesday (6/21/11), so, if you have membership and don't think it will make it to Austin by 6/20/11, bring it to the convention. If you are unable to make the convention, send it with your District or Division Commander, I am sure they will gladly tote it to Odessa.

We still have about 25% of our renewals out there, get on the phone and get them paid and transmitted!! New members are cool, but retaining the other members is just as important. Give the renewals a good feeling about our organization, don't make them feel like red headed step children.

Since I was Commander, I have seen the Detachment grow by leaps and bounds, don't stop now!!! Commander Paul as well as Commander Dew would really appreciate it I am sure.

am putting this report out early because I will be attending the Third Division Convention this weekend and will be busy.
Membership is at 6051-93.8% 400 short of 100% we missed National Goal date.
The thing to work on now is voting strength for Detachment Convention Cutoff is May 23,2011
One of my MENTORS pointed out Ernest was ahead of Juan last week Sorry about the mistake.
This week Ernest is leading in the Third pver Juan by .18%
The Tenth District made goal Congradulations to Brad Pack
Brad also has all Squadrons in the District at or over Goal.
Last week in defining the rainbow I didnot point out Squdrons with a Goal of 10 do not get reward checks this year but they will next year.

As of today we stand at 5621 -87.1% of goal. we need 185 to make it to 90% goal that date is 4/13/2011 that is next Wednesday

Juan Torres Commander Second Division is back on top of membership as of today.
Sorry about some late posting membership from the 15th District Convention, 2 more Squadrons in the 15th made goal and the District only needs 11 to make goal.

We have 2 District Commanders who have preached not setting on membership and get it turned in that they both had 0 turn in at District Convention Congratulations on getting membership turned in.

Before anybody gets upset I compile this report from what is posted on the Department Website.

Of the EIGHT Squadrons that reported membership this week FOUR were already at goal.

As of today we are at 5506 85.4% 300 short of 90% goal 4-13-2011.

We need to work as a TEAM on renewals last count Texas was at 62 %

I have been trying to be a membership Cheerleader and work on the positive.

This week was a little slower than last week. we are at 5486 85% after 120 turn in.

CONGRATULATIONS to Charles Porter Commander District 20 for making GOAL the hard way. He needed 4 members to make goal & had turnin from 4 different Squadrons including 2 Squads. turning in 1 member and a Squad. turning in 2 & a Squad. turning in 6. 5 of 6 Dustricts in Second Division turned in membership.

We are only 320 short of the 90% goal, with Spring Conventions we should be able to make this by April 13,2011.

Let's keep the focus on renewals as we go forward.

Let's start with the good news, Mamie did not post final standings for the SAL goal at Legion Birthday until 3pm because membership was walking in. In the last week Every Squadron in the First District posted members, Every District in the First Division posted members. First Division posted 194 members. Third Division all but one District posted members Texas now stands at 5366 -83.1% 22 Squadrons made goal since January 1,2011 2 large Squadrons & 20 small Squadrons. This means 32 goal checks 10 in January & 22 Legion Birthday 3 Squadrons with a goal of 10 will get a certificate from National but no check this year.

We missed 80% Goal last week by 76 we were given from the 9th to the 14th because of Computer & power problems at National. Of the 281 members turned this week all we needed was 76 to be turned in a week before. We are 440 from the 90% goal April 13,2011 Spring Conventions are starting. We need to push renewals.

CONGRADULATIONS to National Commander Dew's home Squadron 321 for the turnin during their Fish Fry they turned in 116 members to make 173 to surpass the goal of 167.

A list of goal Squadrons is being sent in a email listed by District.

We had turh in this week from ALL 4 Divisions only 10 Districts.

5 Squadrons made goal this week-CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

Charles Porter Commander of the 20th District now leads the way with 6 Squadrons at or over goal.

Juan Torres of the 22nd still leads membership with 119.5%

Detachment membership is 5085 78.8%

We have a month to reach the next goal from National

90% is 5806 we are 721 short right now.

Spring Conventions are starting. We need to hussle MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS

Gentlemen we have not missed two dates. The 80% goal date was today. we are 149 short of goal with what is at Department.

The next Goal date is 90% April 13,2011 as of now we are 645 short.

Spring Conventions are starting Things should start picking up.

The final Goal for TEAM TEXAS is to let Commander Paul pickup a 100% ribbo at National Convention doing this would get Texas another ALL TIME HIGH ribbon.

Gentlemen after talking to Commander Paul The goal date for reward checks has been moved from March 15,2011 to March 18,2011. Membership MUST be in Department by this date to qualify for reward check for 100% Squadrons under 100 will get $25.00 Squadrons over 100 get $50.00. Squadrons under 100 that got $50.00 checks at Mid-Winter DEC do not get a second check.

Remember to throw a pie in the Commander's face your District must be 100% posted on the state website before Convention starts

Numbers posted at National Texas is in 32nd place with 4865 members 75.4%

At Department we have 4959 members 76.8% this is 202 short of the 80% goal. The 80% goal date is 03/09/11 next Wednesday.

If we Should get 202 member in on Monday we can overnight to National.

This week we had only 7 of 22 Districts had any turn in this week. I know Spring Conventions are up coming, but waiting till Convention to turn in Membership the District will NOT be able to throw a pie in the Commander's face As of now only Juan Torres Commander of the 22nd District has made goal.

We are now at 4805 74.5% total turn in was 121 this week.

Squadron 75 Mineral Wells jumped from 61% to 92.6%

Zapata jumped from 0 to 120%.

Juan Torres Commander of the 22th District is the only District to make goal.

We need to start now working membership so Districts are at 100% before Spring District Conventions to be able to throw pies.

Copperas Cove Squadron 582 has passed goal!!!!!!!

Midland Squadron 19 has passed goal!!!!!!!!

Turn in has slowed down. Today we are at 4694 72.7% that leaves us short of the 80% goal by 467. I am sure turn in will pick up with Spring Conventions.

The weather has been a big hurt to everybody lately. I hope all are safe and warm. We missed our first Goal date for the entire year. Today we have 4625 at Department.This is 213 short of the 60% goal which is today.

Now the good news we have until March 9,2011 to our next goal of 80%. I have been unable to find anybody that can explain 15% goals 3 weeks apart and then a month for the next 5%.

Right now we are 536 short of the 80% goal.

Weather will be warming up soon.

Gentlemen the weather has delt us a major blow!!!!!!

Membership turnin was lead this week by Dan Paul from the first Division.

We are at 4588 71.1% this is 250 short of the 75% goal.

If there is a MAJOR turn in counted on Monday as Chairman I will do what I can to get membership overnighted to National.

We are short 532 to make 75% the 75% goal date in February 9, 2011.

Third Division is now in first place.
Second Division is second.

This week was a challenge to make ALL the changes GREAT JOB

A transmittal was sent to National it should be in time for us to reach yet another goal date of 60%. At Department we stand with 4025 members of our 6451 goal.

Congratulations to Jerry Beaird Commander of 7th District for reactivating Squadron 85 in Palestine.

As noted earlier Juan Torres Commander of District 22 has made goal.

Keep up the good work the 75% goal will be tough to meet by February 9,2011 but I think as a team we can do it.

I had a great time at Jan's cousin's wedding then spent time as a guest of Post & Squadron 95 in Huntsville.
As of 01/09/2011 we show 3841 at department 59.5% of our final National goal of 6451 this is 21 short of 60%.
We need to get in gear because 75% goal is in February.

First thing MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE IN THE DETACHMENT.

Membership is a little slow but we need to think about a year end push. There are several Squadrons very close to 100%. After Membership posts on Jan 3,2011 I will count those Squadrons that will get $50.00 Checks. If your Squadron only lacks 2 or 3 to make goal need to think about paying those members before Jan 3, and collect from the members later it would be money ahead. We have 3615 at Department 56.1% this leaves us 247 short of 60% goal. Gentlemen we need to obtain and pass 60% ASAP because the next goal is 75% in February.

I will not put out a report next Friday. I will do it Monday after the final 2910 numbers are in. Spend time with family and enjoy the season. then let's get to work.

Team Texas, We are moving right along. We have made the 45% goal at National. We have passed 50% at Department. We only need 564 to make 60% goal January 20,2011

The last transmittal has been posted at National. We are now setting at 47% Texas is now on the top 20. Now the hard work starts the next goal is 60% due Jan. 20,2011 and we are now short 679 members. I am sorry this report is late . I joined the Post Honor Guard we attended 7 funerals this week.

Remember there is a $50.00 cash reward for makinng goal by Jan. 1, 2011. Commander Dan Paul with the First Division is leading the way with 5 Squadrons that are at or passed 100%.

Wednesday Nov. 24 a Transmittal of 300 members was sent to National. This will put Texas over 45% It should get there in time to post as goal. As of Nov. 23 We were at 40.6% in 28th place. At Headquarters now we stand at 3053 47.3% Our next goal is 60% on Jan. 20 2011, we need 809 to get to this goal..

Ken Peters Jr. Commander of the 6th District had turn in from 80% of his Squadrons this week. Keep up the good work Ken.

I was planning to list Un-certified Squadrons and 0 member Squadrons AGAIN But it is a lot easier to list Districts with all certified Squadrons and membership in all. Districts: 1, 6, 14, 22 congradulations to these Commanders.

A new Membership Incentive has been made as a reward for Districts to reach Goal.

During the travels of the Spring Conventions by Commander Paul, the Division Commanders, and myself. If the District being visited has posted 100% on the Detachment Website, they can auction off to chose who gets to throw a pie in the face of the Highest Officer Present. The funds raised in the Auction will go to the Charity of the person getting the pie.

We have membership at Department to reach the 45% goal!!!

Department should transmit on 11-24 and this make National in time.

Last week I made a mistake of 6 members. This was caught very quickly by our Advisor and a Past Commander. I did not send a correction to see if Squadron Commander or District Commander or Division Commander would catch the mistake and call. It takes time to keep this spreedsheet up to date. If nobody is reading this why should I spend the time??

Our next goal is 60% by Jan 20,2011 we are now 952 from this goal. I said earlier the goal are now in 15% increases.

National shows us at 36.7 % 22 place This reflects that we did make the 35% goal date GREAT WORK.

Good news Larry Black Mid-west Membership and Texas Detachment Alt.Nec. Sent me a copy of Fridays standings Texas is now at 16 with 36.7% We have made the 35% goal. District Commanders make sure all Squadron Commanders are aware of the Dec. 31,2010 incentives to make Goal. Dec. 8,2010 is 45% goal date we are 300 short. We broke 40% with what has been processed by Department. The problem is National has only 27% . 600 members were mailed [as I was told] on Monday . As of today we need 300 to make it to 45% Remember Any Squadron making goal by Dec. 31,2010 will get a check for $50.00

As you read this spreadsheet the format has changed because of a complaint of a dual member. Each District is listed highest to lowest. Listed is a list of District with Squadron that is not certified. Next week I will list Squadrons with 0 members.

Keep pluging away we will make the 25% goal with the transmital that was mailed today. Lindale has joined the ranks as a new charter Squadron 15 way to go. Check the attached report. We need to work on getting all Squadrons certified. I was involved in a conversation at DEC about bring the 23rd District online. The turn out at DEC was GREAT

Gentlemen, if it gets to National in time The Detachment will make 25%goal on time.

Looking at the spreedsheet there some Squdrons not Certified. District Commanders need to follow up to make sure all Squdrons in their District are certified. Division Commanders need to keep an eye and, be it place to help any District in your Division. I am here to help anybody who needs it.

Again the numbers on the website & national will never match this spreedsheet.

As out going commander I must say GREAT job Team Texas. Division commanders all worked very hard. Most District Commanders worked very hard. We even had a District at 100% before Mid-winter DEC. The team John Schendel had in Third Division did a great job having all Districts in Division at 100%.

Albert has set the bar very high. I will do my best with 4 new Division Commanders & the District Commanders.

Hello Team Texas Congradulations and thank all of you for a wonderful year. I have enjoyed working with all of you and yal made my job easy with all of your hard work on membership. I am still trying to find out why National is showing us to be short. Theri membership numbers and ours do not match. I asked our adjutant, Kevin, to contact someone that can give us an answer. I haven't heard from him yet. As of 8/19/2010 we are at 103.74%.

As of 7/23/2010 we are at 103.18%. There were 37 members sent on 7/23/2010. Thing have slowed down but keep those renewals coming in. Wednesday 7/28/2010 is our deadline for 105% . If we don't make it we have given one heck of a run for it. Thanks to all of you for the good year . It's been fun. I will have one more report before I go to National Convention and the new Membership Chairman will take over.

Team we have a chance of making our next goal of 80% on March 10, 2010. We are at 75.94%. Let's not give up. Go over your membership and call and ask those that have not paid thier dues to do so. Well Team Texas you did it. Congradulations on making 60% goal. This is the first time that 60% goal has been met since 1997. Team Texas your actual standing is 62.09%. Team Texas!!!!!

Albert asked me to give you all this update while he is undergoing surgery, and it is truly an honor. You all are doing an exceptional job on membership this year, as you can see National changed our goal to 6231, but you are oh so close to the 60 % it is in creditable!!!!!! We have two weeks of hustling membership and only two hundred some to get the job done. I am sure the National figure will change, so use the 6311 , and even at that, we only have 307 to go. Department will be on vacation until 1/4/10, so recruit, retain, and promote membership!!!!! If you will notice, there are some squadrons in bold type, those are the ones that have qualified for the $50.00 check so far, another update will be given after the January 4th. tally is in. If you are in a squadron that has hit 100% and your goal was ten, next year will be your time to shine. Albert will resume the updates after the 4th. MEMBERSHIP!!!!MEMBERSHIP!!!!!! MEMBERSHIP!!!!!

Team Texas you guys are still kicking and looking good. As of 12/17/2009 we are at 54.44%, but National has raised our goal from 6188 to 6231, but you can still make our goal because you are Team Texas. Keep up the good job you are doing.

Texas team it is time to make a big push in our mebership with the holidays coming up. Every year our membership slows down during the holiday season. I would like to see our team at 45% in the next 2 weeks. As of October 29, 2009 we are at 38.42%.

If you will look at our spread sheet there are a lot of zeros. District Commanders try to contact these Squadrons and see if there is anything you can do to help. Sometimes a little help goes a long way.
